Standard mode offers a clean, transparent compression that
tightens your drum mix and creates cohesion and glue
across your drum bus.
Slammed mode delivers aggressive, in-your-face
compression to achieve that punchy, larger-than-life drum
sound you've heard on your favorite records. Perfect for your
parallel drum bus.

Auto Gain built in to each control for easy
A/B'ing and no wasted time.
Color Your Drums
Fine-tune and shape your drum tone with
the TONE and SALT controls.
Use the Tone knob to go brighter and more
present, or smoother and warmer.
The Salt control adds flavor to your drums,
subtly enhancing key frequencies that add power,
clarity, and punch to any drum bus.
Saturation Tailored for
Bigger Drums
The heat control adds tasteful saturation, enriching your drums
with fitting harmonic content depending on which mode you're in.
Heat in STANDARD mode adds warmth and fullness. In SLAMMED

Turn left for smooth and warm, turn right for bright & present.

Adds unique flavor to your drums by enhancing key frequencies for low-end punch, midrange attack and high-end presence. You`ll love cranking up the SALT.
7HPF
The side-chain high pass filter allows you to filter out low frequencies in the detection circuit for more precise control over how much compression and pumping you get.

- For further sound shaping, BSA Drum Bus includes an attack control for transient adjustment. This powerful feature allows you to fine-tune the initial impact of your drum hits. By adjusting the attack, you can emphasize the punch of your drums or smooth out the transients for a more controlled sound.
- The Tone and Salt controls offer extensive options for coloring and fine-tuning your drum tonality. The Tone control allows you to adjust the overall frequency balance of your drums to achieve the perfect drum glue for your mix.
